Nelis Uriarte

Nelis came to us from a rural community over 5 hours away in the State of Chinandega.  She is 23 years old. She is studying Business Administration at the local University. She has been with us for about 2.5 years, initially studying computer and baking while adapting to life in town. Now she is finishing up her second year of University (University is a 5 year career in Nicaragua). Nelis is very self disciplined and makes a good example for the other girls.

Nelis is also a leader in the church, volunteers at the old folks home when available, and is one of the leaders in the girls home. She is a brilliant young lady.
